Can anyone tell me why my computer keeps making this noise when I watch shows or listen to music? I sent my computer in to HP to get fixed for several issues and everything got taken care of EXCEPT for this noise!! It is really annoying especially since I watch A LOT of shows online (Netflix, Hulu, tv station websites)!! I really don't want to have to send it back to them since school has started and I need my computer and they didn't fix it the first time!! PLEASE HELP!!

My reviews will contain spoilers!!! I will be reviewing Romance novels of all kinds, but the majority will be paranormal. I may review a few non-romance as well. P.S. I honestly don't know how to keep up with a blog :-(

Review 2: My Soul to Take
The first official book in the Soul Screamers' series was pretty great. It had some serious twists that I did not expect at all. The characters are developing nicely although I'm sure they have a long way to go. Some parts of the story made me sad. But that's part of a great book, being able to make a reader feel different emotions while reading it.
I'm excited to learn more about the characters, especially Tod, who we just found out at the end of the book was Nash's brother! That was a shocker, although with all the bickering between the two I figured they had to at least have been best friends before Tod became a reaper. I'm a little worried about how Tod feels for Kaylee, I don't know if he is protective of her because of his brother or because he is starting to like her as well.
It was interesting how Rachel Vincent portrayed Kaylee's Aunt Val. With Val's drinking because of all the girl's deaths I was a little confused as to why she was taking it so hard. I thought maybe because she was friends with one of the girls' mothers, but it turned out that she was basically feeling guilty because they were all dying because she made a deal so she could be young again. I was completely shock even more so than finding out about Tod. She is married to a Bean Sidhe for crying out loud, didn't she know better than making a deal with a reaper! I guess not.
I have really enjoyed this book and can not wait to read the next one!

Review: My Soul to Lose
Well it is no surprise that I am already enjoying Rachel Vincent's Soul Screamers series since I enjoyed her Shifters series. This is definitely a different sort of story. It introduces a new set of mythological creatures that I have not yet seen in fictional novels before.
In My Soul to Lose, Rachel Vincent introduces the main character Kaylee, although she does not yet explain why Kaylee is the way she is. Kaylee knows there is something different about her but doesn't understand it. When she is sent to the Psych hospital she meets another young girl, named Lydia, who is also different but the readers never find out who this girl really is and I'm hoping that she will be brought into the story later on, although I'm not sure if she will be.
It was a great short story to catch a reader's interest for the next book.
